Inside the REI Accelerator Community: A Member Community Review

Many REI Accelerator reviews mention the community before anything else. Members describe it as a professional network and a family at the same time. This article looks at what the REI Accelerator community is, how members use it, and what they post there, using their own words.

Where the community lives

REI Accelerator members connect in a Skool community, an online space where they can hang out with other investors at or above their level. Members post introductions, questions, deal updates, and wins. Coaches and other members reply, celebrate, and offer advice.

The online community is supported by weekly Zoom calls where members collaborate on deals and learn from mistakes others have already made, and by 4-6 accountability calls every week to keep members on track toward their goals.

Who you will meet

REI Accelerator describes itself as a group of faith-based investors who care about impact as much as income. That shows up in how members introduce themselves. Many talk about stewardship, generosity, and building wealth so they can bless others.

“We're looking forward to meeting like minded people who want to be blessed by our Creator so we can abundantly bless others.”

Members come from many backgrounds. Some are experienced single-family investors. Others are pastors, social workers, or business professionals who are newer to apartments. What they share is a goal of scaling through multifamily real estate.

The wins channel

One of the most active parts of the community is where members share wins. Posts range from small milestones to signed contracts, and they tend to get a lot of encouragement.

“Hello everyone, Just wanted to share a huge win.... I submitted 3 LOIs, at the start of the week! ahead of my Schedule already”

“Today I celebrate one week of being under contract! Due diligence is underway and I have the inspection scheduled for Sunday morning and I will be there!”
Shenika Douglas

Some members share full deal snapshots, including asking price, accepted offer, projected returns, equity raise, and financing terms. That level of detail helps newer members see how a real apartment deal is structured.

“We're thrilled to announce that Everflow Capital has officially received an accepted LOI on our second multifamily acquisition, located just 2.5 miles from our first deal!”
Kevin Harris

Advice from members to members

Members often answer each other's questions directly, passing on what worked for them. That peer advice is one of the reasons members say the community matters as much as the training.

“So you'll find that REI is both a professional network and a family community. Depending on your background, there may be alot to learn and do, but the process works. We were social workers until last year, and now we're about to buy a 40-unit apartment! Work hard, list to coaches, network with REI and in-market brokers, insurance agents, etc. and you'll do great.”
Mike Reid

Support beyond the community

Members also have 24/7 support through email, chat, and calls with their success coach, plus access to attorneys, CPAs, HR directors, corporate fundraisers, and underwriting specialists. The community is where members connect with each other, and the support team is where they get expert help on specific questions.

What members say about it

Across member reviews, the community comes up again and again as the reason members stayed motivated and kept making progress. Shoutouts to coaches and fellow members are common in wins posts, and many members credit the people around them for getting their first deal done.

“So shoutout to every single coach and member who has supported and celebrated with me on this journey! I am immensely blessed and honored that I was lead to this AMAZING community!”
Shenika Douglas

How to get the most out of the community

Members who get the most from the REI Accelerator community tend to do a few things consistently. They introduce themselves early, post their goals, share updates even when progress is slow, and show up to the weekly calls. They ask specific questions about real deals and take feedback from coaches and other investors seriously. Over time, those habits turn the community from a place to read into a network of people they can call on when a deal needs capital, a second opinion, or a referral.
